Help protect your property against flooding with a Property Flood Resilience (PFR) grant worth up to £8,000. You can use the money to fit flood protection products on your property, such as:
- automatic flood doors
- de-watering pumps
- barriers – usually fitted on doors and windows to prevent flood water from entering your property
- air-brick covers – placed over existing air-bricks and vents to act as a seal to prevent flood-water from entering your property
Who can apply?
You can apply for a PFR grant if you’ve been affected by internal flooding from local flood risk sources such as rainfall, watercourses, and groundwater.
If you live in a Critical Drainage Area (CDA), you are automatically eligible to receive a PFR grant. Use our map to check if you’re at risk of flooding.
