What is a property Flood Resilience Grant?

The Property Flood Resilience (PFR) grant can help you secure your property against flooding. The grant:

• goes towards the purchase and installation costs of products which help to minimise flood damage, helping your home stay safe and dry
• typically takes around three months from the initial application to the installation of the recommended measures
• previously covered costs up to £8,000, and any costs exceeding this amount was paid by the property owner

Please note: Our previous Essex Property Flood Resilience Grant scheme has now closed, we aim to relaunch it soon. You can express your interest in the new scheme, and we will notify you when it becomes available.
