An engineer will review the information you provide and send advice by email. They will:

- highlight any issues that may affect your application
Site visit and written advice
An engineer will visit the site of the proposed works to discuss your plans and provide advice. They will:
- discuss your proposal with you
- identify any issues that may affect your application
- help ensure your submission is accurate and complete
Following the visit, you will receive written advice to support your application.
How to apply
- Complete the online pre-application form.
- Select either written advice or a site visit and written advice.
- Submit your application and payment.
- One of our engineers will review your request and contact you within 28 days.

- Written advice: £219.92 (including VAT)
- Site visit and written advice: £432.36 (including VAT)
